Francesco and his family have been serving delicious Italian food nestled between St.Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge for a few years now with many happy customers reviews left on Mangio’s Google Business profile.

Mangio wanted to freshen up the site. They needed me to improve their header navigation, add customer reviews, implement Instagram wall, change heading fonts and to also make their menu page easy to edit for them.

That was the basic brief but due to a couple of technical ‘challenges’ shall we say, the project turned out to be quite involved. This was mainly down to two main factors. Their WordPress site hadn’t had any version, theme or plugin updates in over 6 years and the site was running on an extremely outdated version of PHP. A staging site was built running on PHP 7.2, the Avada theme was purchased as their old license had lapsed.
